Family Engagement Survey

Please Share Your Feedback with Us
Each year, we ask our families to take a few minutes to share feedback through our Parent Engagement Survey. Your voice matters to us. The input we receive from parents and guardians helps us better understand what is working well, where we need to improve, and how we can continue working together to design success for every student.
This year’s survey includes important questions about our school schedule, how we are performing as a district and as individual schools, and what priorities you believe should guide our strategic plan moving forward. Your feedback will help our School Board, district leaders, and school teams make informed decisions that reflect the needs and hopes of our students, families, and community.
We know your time is valuable, but we hope you will take a few minutes to complete the survey. Whether your feedback is about things we are doing well or areas where we can do better, we truly want to hear from you.
Thank you for being an important partner in your child’s education and for helping us continue to improve District 93 schools. As we have shared in past Family Updates, our goal is to listen to families, provide helpful information, and work together in support of our students.

Supplemental Levy Election

Election Day is Tuesday, May 19.

Over the past several weeks, we have shared information about the district’s budget challenges, the budget reductions we are already making, and the purpose of the proposed supplemental levy.
As we have shared, we are facing a budget shortfall primarily caused by declining student enrollment and the state’s return to an attendance-based funding model.
In response, the district has already worked to make $4.2 million in budget reductions for next school year including staffing reductions, compensation adjustments, and reducing technology expenditures.
The proposed supplemental levy would provide $9.6 million per year for two years to help maintain programs and services currently in place in our schools. If the levy is approved, the district will be able to maintain key programs; if it is not approved, additional reductions will be required to balance the district’s budget.
The graphic below provides a quick overview of the key facts related to the levy. Additional information is available at d93.org/levy.
Infographic titled “What to Know Before May 19” summarizing key points about the Bonneville Joint School District 93 supplemental levy. It explains that the levy is proposed due to declining enrollment and reduced state funding, notes that $4 million in budget cuts are already underway, states that the levy would help maintain current programs, outlines that additional cuts will be required if it is not approved, and shows an estimated tax impact of $119.24 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, which is an increase from the current rate.

2026-2027 School Schedule

New School Year, New Schedule

With the opening of a new school and updated attendance boundaries, the district has worked carefully to design a schedule that supports safe, efficient transportation and consistent school routines for students and families.
The updated schedule streamlines elementary start times into three groups, replacing a wider range of start times currently in place. This adjustment allows for improved bus routing and provides drivers with additional time between routes, helping ensure students arrive safely and on time despite increased traffic and growing enrollment.
Under the new schedule:
  • Elementary schools will begin with a 7:20 a.m. drop-off / 7:40 a.m. start time for the earliest group
  • Other elementary schools will follow in later groups throughout the morning
  • Secondary schools will see slightly adjusted end times, with most schools finishing around 4:00 p.m.
These changes were developed through collaboration with school leaders and transportation staff, with careful consideration given to instructional time requirements, traffic patterns, and the complexity of running multiple bus routes each day.
While adjustments like these can take time for families to adapt to, the goal remains clear: providing a safe, reliable, and efficient schedule that supports student learning across D93.
The full district schedule is included below for your reference.

Graphic promoting the 'Kindness in Action' Idaho Service Challenge for Bonneville Joint School District No. 93.
Bonneville Joint School District 93 is proud to participate in the America250 in Idaho Service Challenge — an initiative inviting individuals, families, classrooms, businesses, faith groups, and entire communities to serve in ways big and small.
For this challenge, an “act of service” is defined simply as:
Any intentional action that provides a meaningful benefit to others.
Whether it takes five minutes or five hours — if it makes a difference, it counts.
At D93, we know service doesn’t have to be complicated. It can look like:
  • Donating used books or clothing
  • Helping take in a neighbor’s garbage bins
  • Picking up trash along a trail
  • Offering encouragement to a colleague
  • Supporting a student who needs a little extra care
Does it count? Yes.
As a district, we are committed to modeling kindness through action. When D93 students and staff serve others — in our schools, in our neighborhoods, and throughout our community — we strengthen not only those around us, but the culture of who we are.
Kindness becomes powerful when it turns into service.
Neighbors helping neighbors: The Idaho way.
And here in D93, it’s the way we lead.

EIRMC Health Minute

Understanding Intensive Outpatient Mental Health Care

Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) offer structured mental health support while allowing individuals to continue their daily routines at home, work, or school. These programs can be a valuable option for those who need more support than traditional therapy but do not require inpatient care.

Learn how IOPs work, who they’re for, and how they can support mental health and recovery by reading more here:
